Former WWE star seemingly takes shot at Vince McMahon; reveals failed idea for his faction

A former WWE Superstar seemingly took a major shot at Vince McMahon today. McMahon resigned from the company earlier this year after allegations from former employee Janel Grant were made public.

MVP (Montel Vontavious Porter) departed WWE earlier this year and has since joined All Elite Wrestling. Shelton Benjamin and Bobby Lashley have also signed with AEW, and the trio is known as The Hurt Syndicate in the company.

The 51-year-old took to social media today to seemingly take a major shot at Vince McMahon's creative ideas for The Hurt Business in WWE. The veteran claimed an "old man" wanted to turn the faction into another version of The Nation of Domination and noted that he never wanted his faction to be about race.

"There was a moment during the "PC Era" when the old man wanted to turn "The Hurt Business" into NOD 2.0. He even brought in Mark & Ron. We fought him on it. Our group was NEVER about RACE. It's always been about our organic friendship and desire to make money doing what we love!" he wrote.

Former WWE star comments on the allegations against Vince McMahon

Wrestling veteran Alberto Del Rio recently discussed the allegations against former WWE CEO Vince McMahon.

In an exclusive interview with Sportskeeda Wrestling earlier this year, Del Rio shared that the law system in America works well and would always find the truth. The former champion added that it will be up to the public to decide if they want to believe the truth or not.

"To be honest, I don't know what's gonna happen because the law system works in different ways in every state, but I can tell you this, the law system in America works and it's fair and they always find the truth. Whenever they find the truth, whatever the truth is, for one side or the other, it will be a matter of people deciding if they can take the truth or not." [From 01:51 – 02:25]
