Former WWE star shares his honest thoughts on Nikki Bella's reported divorce (Exclusive)
A former WWE name recently talked about the reported divorce proceedings of Nikki Bella. Nikki is rumored to be a victim of domestic abuse at the hands of her partner, Artem Chigvintsev.
According to reports, Nikki Bella's husband Artem was arrested for felony corporal injury to the spouse, which meant that there had to be visible marks on the victim. This has expectedly led to much buzz in the WWE community, who are questioning what Nikki's plans for the future are. Many veterans have already shown their support for the former Divas Champion, including EC3.
Speaking on Sportskeeda's The Wrestling Outlaws, EC3 shared his honest thoughts on the matter, stating that domestic abuse was absolutely unforgivable.
"Domestic abuse, can't touch that. There's no, nothing to be said about that besides it's one of the most heinous and horrible things I can think of doing to somebody you love." [3:41 onwards]
The ex-WWE star also commented on John Cena and Nikki Bella's past relationship
According to EC3, John Cena and Nikki Bella had amazing chemistry while they were together during their time in WWE.
Speaking on the same episode of Sportskeeda's The Wrestling Outlaws, EC3 explained that despite it being quite unfortunate, it was a good decision for John and Nikki to split up, considering their different priorities in life.
"As for John and Nikki, anytime I saw them together, they were always, they had good chemistry. Fun to be around, you know. I didn't go on too many double dates with them. I went on one double date with Nikki and Daniel Bryan and Brie at one point, and that was a lot of fun. Having a boundary is important, and better to have decided that, you know, made that commitment that you don't want kids, and they do and split hopefully on amicable terms." [3:08 onwards]
As of now, it remains to be seen how Nikki Bella moves on from her current situation and what her future plans are.
