Former WWE star teases blockbuster return after 13 years ahead of The Royal RumbleĀ
The Royal Rumble is less than two months away and it seems that WWE could be making plans for some major returns as part of the show.
The Royal Rumble has become one of the biggest events of the year and one that holds some of the biggest shocks and surprises. While John Cena is already expected to return as part of the show, it appears that Chris Masters could also be pushing for a return for the annual event.
The former star shared an update of an entrance from an episode of RAW and asked if the WWE Universe would remember the theme. This could be a tease as to whether or not they would remember if he was to make his return as part of the 30-man field in The Royal Rumble on February 1.
"Throwback Thursday. Would the WWE Universe remember this theme?" he wrote.

Masters was released back in 2011 but has continued to wrestle and still works on the Independent Circuit. The star has pushed for a return to his former company but as of yet, he hasn't been able to step back into the ring for his former employer in more than a decade.
Chris Masters could be a part of the annual WWE Royal Rumble
WWE has brought back a number of popular names over the past few years to be part of the Royal Rumble and it's interesting to note that at present, Carlito is currently part of RAW, which means that there is also the option to keep Masters around after the Rumble to allow him to reunite with his former tag team partner.
This could also be used as an angle in the Rumble since Carlito is a heel and part of The Judgment Day at present, it would be interesting to see how he reacted if Masters made his way out as an entrant whilst Carlito was still in the ring.
