Former WWE Superstar Billie Kay shows off bold new look
The WWE women's division has featured several superstars from Down Under over the years. Australian representatives in the squared circle include Rhea Ripley, Emma, Nia Jax, Indi Hartwell, Billie Kay, aka Jessica McKay, and Peyton Royce, aka Cassie Lee of The IIconics, among others. Billie has just revealed her latest look while continuing her lengthy hiatus from the ring.
Everybody's Favorite Girlfriend and The Venus Fly Trap had been on the Australian indies when WWE signed them in April 2015 following a tryout the previous summer. The IIconics spent 120 days as Women's Tag Team Champions after a major WrestleMania 35 win but were released due to budget cuts in April 2021. They then debuted in TNA as The IInspiration, winning the Knockouts World Tag Team Championship on night one at Bound For Glory. Following a 133-day reign, the duo left on April 27, 2022, after deciding to exit the ring indefinitely.
Kay and Royce may have stepped away from pro wrestling for the most part, but they still keep in touch with fans and are active on social media, while keeping some ties to the industry. Kay took to her Instagram stories today to check in with fans and reveal her new lighter look.

NXT's 2016 Breakout Stars of the Year have had some acting and modeling projects in recent years, and their Off Her Chops podcast has been on hiatus since December 2023. Kay has not wrestled since April 2022 and welcomed her first child in December 2023. Royce has only worked a handful of WSW matches in 2023. She welcomed her first child in January 2023, then her second this past June.
WWE NXT star provides update on wife Peyton Royce
Peyton Royce aka Cassie Lee is interested in returning to the wrestling ring. The former WWE and TNA champion has given birth to two sons since January 2023.
Royce has been married to WWE's Shawn Spears since August 2019. The Chairman recently spoke with Chris Van Vliet and gave an update on how his wife is doing.
"She watches it a lot. She watches it more than I do. That doesn't mean I don't watch wrestling; it just means I'm busy a lot. I'm around; I can see a lot of stuff. Yeah, she keeps up on it. She still loves watching a lot of her friends, and she's still getting the itch. So she's already weight training; she's doing all that kind of stuff. She's getting back into the mix and things like that. When she feels 100% good to go, there's a ring close by, so she plans on getting back into it," Shawn Spears said.
Spears then provided an update on Royce's in-ring status. Billie Kay has not wrestled since the duo left TNA in April 2022, but Royce worked several indie events. She captured the WSW Women's Championship in Australia on October 7, 2023, but the title was vacated 254 days later due to her pregnancy.
