Former WWE Superstar shares a rare photo featuring Chris Benoit

Chris Benoit was featured in a throwback photo posted by former WWE Superstar, Jillian Hall.

In 2007, Benoit murdered his wife Nancy and their son Daniel before taking his own life. During his time as an active professional wrestler, he competed at WCW, WWE, NJPW, and ECW, among other promotions. He was also a multi-time WWE champion.

On Instagram, Hall shared a throwback group photo also featuring Benoit. Along with her post, she wrote a short message.

"I forgot this photo even existed. (It’s a photo from the past. Nothing more. I have my thoughts on him as everyone does. That’s no one’s business though. This is just a photo.) #2006 #overseastour #throwback #throwbackthursday #prowrestling," wrote Hall.

Chuck Palumbo saw Chris Benoit act in a "crazy" manner before tragedy

Former WWE Superstar Chuck Palumbo witnessed Chris Benoit's "crazy" behavior before the tragedy.

Speaking with Monte & The Pharaoh, Palumbo stated that he had noticed Benoit's erratic behavior and even witnessed him snap occasionally. He also discussed the effects alcohol had on Benoit.

"Chris had a crazy side. I'm sorry, I've seen it. I saw the way he hazed some guys. I saw the way he would snap once in a while. I saw how he acted when he drank. I loved Eddie [Guerrero]. He was one of my friends. Him and Eddie would hang out and drink. Chris would get wacky. I've seen him in hotel bars. I've driven with Chris. I've seen Chris taking pills while he's drinking," said Palumbo.

During the end of the Attitude Era, Chris Benoit joined the WWE. Shortly afterward, he won his first title in the company, winning the Intercontinental Championship at WrestleMania 2000.

At WrestleMania XX, Benoit won the World Heavyweight Championship, beating Triple H and Shawn Michaels in the main event. He celebrated his championship victory with then-WWE Champion, Eddie Guerrero, who defeated Kurt Angle at the same show.
