Former WWE Superstar teases playing cruel joke on The Miz
A former WWE Superstar teased playing a cruel joke on The Miz ahead of tonight's edition of the red brand. Tonight's episode of WWE RAW will air live from Evansville, Indiana.
Earlier today, it was reported that The Miz and Maryse are looking to sell their home in Los Angeles for $12 million. Former WWE Superstar Matt Cardona (Zack Ryder) took to social media today and suggested that he purchase The A-Lister's home as a joke. Cardona's time in the promotion came to an end in 2020, but he has become a major star on the independent wrestling scene since departing the company.
"I should buy it as a rib," he wrote.
Matt Cardona is married to SmackDown star Chelsea Green in real life. Green will be competing in a Dumpster Match against Michin (Mia Yim) this Friday night on SmackDown.
WWE SmackDown star comments on The Miz overcoming adversity
Tommaso Ciampa recently shared how The Miz had overcome a lot of adversity during his professional wrestling career.
Johnny Gargano and Tommaso Ciampa are currently in a tag team known as #DIY. The popular duo will be competing in a Triple Threat Ladder Match against Street Profits and WWE Tag Team Champions The Bloodline this Friday night on SmackDown.
In an exclusive interview with Sportskeeda Wrestling, Ciampa noted that he has always been a fan of the former WWE Champion. The veteran added that The A-Lister has been thrown out of locker rooms in the past and has overcome a lot to become a star in the wrestling business.
"He's my brother's favorite wrestler and that carries weight... I like The Miz, like I've always been a fan of The Miz," said Ciampa. "I think it's kinda funny that false narrative of like 'My Ciampa wouldn't with The Miz' it's like you don't know your Ciampa then like why would I not like him. He's a dude who overcome adversity. If there is anything I know about this, it's overcoming adversity like I get it. I get it when the door is shut in your face, he's been thrown out of locker rooms and I've been turned down on tryouts. He's been doing it, he's in the grind." (From 0:39 to 1:14)
The Miz has not competed in a match on RAW during the month of September. It will be interesting to see what the promotion has planned for the 43-year-old moving forward.
