Former WWE Undisputed Tag Team Champion says he will 'have fun' with Rhea Ripley: "It's just us"

A top WWE RAW superstar recently opened up about his relationship with Rhea Ripley. The former champion claimed he and The Eradicator would have fun together.

The person in question is none other than Damian Priest. The 41-year-old is a close friend of Ripley in and out of WWE. While they were teammates in The Judgment Day, the Terror Twins will now work on their own to fight Dominik Mysterio and the Women's World Champion Liv Morgan in a Mixed Tag Team Match at WWE Bash in Berlin.

In an interview with Denise Salcedo on Instinct Culture ahead of tonight's premium live event, the former Undisputed Tag Team Champion addressed his relationship with his tag team partner, stating that they will have more fun working alone than they did being part of The Judgment Day.

"We were, you know, it was one of those things that we always talked about, teaming together. And, obviously, we did The Judgment Day, and that was so much fun, and we were, you know, very happy with it. But I think now the vibe is a little different cuz it's just us, you know. And I think we're gonna have even more fun than we did in The Judgment Day cuz, so far, that's what's happening. We just can't stop, you know, having a great time, you know, beating up people we don't like together. And it's just us again, like, it's not a group of people. It's just I have one person to rely on, and so does she, and it's actually more comfortable," he said. [0:52 - 1:20]

Damian Priest defeated Dominik Mysterio ahead of WWE Bash in Berlin

Dominik Mysterio was supposed to fight Damian Priest on WWE RAW a few weeks ago. However, Dirty Dom's challenge turned out to be a trap for the former World Heavyweight Champion, as The Judgment Day attacked him.

Although he and his Terror Twin, Rhea Ripley, initially fended off the ambush, the tables turned again when Morgan attacked The Eradicator with a chair at ringside and The Judgment Day ganged up on Priest inside the squared circle. The segment ended with the destruction of the Terror Twins at the hands of their former faction.

While the Terror Twins prepare to get revenge at Bash in Berlin, Priest went head-to-head against Dominik last night after SmackDown went off the air. The Archer of Infamy defeated the former NXT North American Champion in about two and a half minutes.

While some experts predicted that Ripley and Priest would win in the German capital, others think the opposite. It would be interesting to see who will leave WWE Bash in Berlin victorious.
