Former WWE World Champion Nic Nemeth reacts to heartbreaking New Day split on RAW; makes surprising claim about Kofi Kingston
Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods shocked the world last Monday on WWE RAW when they kicked Big E out of The New Day. Former World Heavyweight Champion Nic Nemeth (fka Dolph Ziggler) recently reacted to the surprising segment while also making a claim about Kingston.
The New Day celebrated its 10-year anniversary on RAW this week with Big E joining the festivities. He even offered to be Kofi and Wood's manager, but they refused. They aired their grievances and turned on the injured WWE Superstar by removing him from their group.
Speaking on Busted Open Radio, Nemeth revealed that he could not believe what transpired on RAW. He was sympathetic towards Big E but understood that Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods were truthful and logical. He also liked Kingston not caring about his fellow former WWE Champion's broken neck, which was out of character:
"Woods and Kofi genuinely make good real points of, 'Where were you, man?' Like take the tone out of their voice, take the anger, look at them, 'Where were you?' Like of all the teams, this is the team that's a family. 'We are the team, that says all of us or none,' and Kofi saying, ‘So what,’ to his broken neck is so beautiful. It's so simple, but it's so beautiful. 'You got a broken neck, so what?'" Nemeth said. [From 02:11 to 02:39]

Nic Nemeth liked everything about the segment and the swerve WWE pulled off. The former WWE World Heavyweight Champion could have never imagined not liking Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods, but the company managed to do that in one explosive segment.
Kofi Kingston says Big E could have prevented everything
In an interview on The Chase and Big Joe Show, Kofi Kingston revealed that Big E had a chance to make things right before Monday. Kingston acknowledged that things were going south between him and Woods, and their former friend could have easily fixed it, but was "too little too late."
"When Big E showed up last week, it was too little too late. If everybody saw what was happening, why didn't he tried to intervene a little bit earlier. It's not like he hasn't been at work. He's been on those premium live events. The preshows, he's been on those. He could’ve easily came to us at any point during those deterioration. He chose to wait all this time. It was too little too late. It is what it is," Kingston said. [From 36:51 to 37:20]
It will be interesting to see if Kingston and Woods can achieve success with a renewed focus following RAW. It's also unclear if Big E was used to create the swerve or if he's going to be involved moving forward.
