Bill Apter says he does not believe one important detail about the Vince McMahon documentary
The Vince McMahon documentary covered the controversial life of the former chairman. It also highlighted how Vince bought WWE from his father and slowly expanded the business to other territories. While Vince's father wasn't on board with the idea initially, he changed his mind later.
On Sportskeeda's UnSKripted, Bill Apter said that he does not believe Vince's father would've been okay with his son moving into the other territories since he valued his friendship with the other promoters.
"One of the parts that bothered me because of how I knew Vince Sr. was that towards the end of his life, there was a quote from Vince Jr. that said that you know after a while, regarding him taking over the territories, Junior, that his father said kind of 'eff em all.' I don't believe that at all. I do not believe that. His father was very close with Sam Muchnick, with Eddie Graham, and so many of the other promoters. They had their own clique, so to say, and his father really valued the friendships." [6:17 onwards]
Vince McMahon's visionary idea to expand the business into other territories changed the landscape of professional wrestling.
