"Get you money's worth" - Roman Reigns and Cody Rhodes could be a part of an epic storyline on SmackDown, predicts wrestling veteran (Exclusive)
WWE Superstar Cody Rhodes stunned fans when he subtly "acknowledged" his biggest rival Roman Reigns on SmackDown tonight in his feud against The Bloodline. Wrestling veteran Dutch Mantell believes the duo could work together in the future and would be a hit with fans.
The American Nightmare defeated Reigns to win the Undisputed WWE Championship at WrestleMania 40, ending the latter's historic title reign to finish the story. The Bloodline has returned to haunt him on the blue brand however, and this time, it is led by Solo Sikoa.
Many have speculated that Roman Reigns would return to take back his title as the Head of the Table. The latest episode of SmackDown saw Cody Rhodes openly state that The Bloodline didn't have their boss or "Tribal Chief" before labeling Solo Sikoa a seat filler.
Dutch Mantell reviewed the episode on the latest edition of Sportskeeda Wrestling's Talking Smack. The veteran commented on the possibility of Cody Rhodes and Roman Reigns potentially forming an alliance against the Solo Sikoa-run Bloodline and said that it could help both stars. He believes fans would love to see them work together for at least a year before they split and WWE could get their "money's worth"
"I think an animosity between them works against them and fans don't see that. They see a split coming between them, they don't want it. I would say run them till the wheels come off the cart then you can do something with it. Then you can do something with it. Get your money's worth out of it. And they are good for a year now, another year," said Mantell. [36:07 - 36:33]
He further praised the Triple H-run creative team for doing a "masterful" job with the story-telling and credited WWE for delivering good shows on SmackDown for consecutive weeks. Dutch Mantell was quoted as saying:
"We will see where they go with this but they have done a masterful job. They got the great main events, and they have their filler matches that don't mean that much but they can turn it into something. But it is the second week in a row that SmackDown had a good quality show." [36:34 - 36:56]

Huge brawl on WWE SmackDown sees top babyfaces band against The Bloodline
The last few weeks have seen Cody Rhodes form an alliance with Randy Orton and Kevin Owens who were already involved in a feud with The Bloodline. The Undisputed WWE Champion will join forces with The Viper and the Prizefighter to take on Solo Sikoa, Tama Tonga, and Tonga Loa in a six-man tag team match at Money in the Bank.
The American Nightmare and his friends crossed paths with The Bloodline on tonight's episode of SmackDown which led to an immediate brawl. SmackDown General Manager Nick Aldis was forced to bring in extra security to separate the two groups as their altercation held the show hostage, preventing its start. The Bloodline now also has Jacob Fatu on their side who was officially added to the faction before Sikoa led his men to a brutal attack on Paul Heyman.
