"Go enjoy" - 3-time champion addresses major backstage changes upon returning to WWE

WWE underwent a drastic change when Triple H's new regime took over and replaced the old system under Vince McMahon's leadership. Recently, former RAW Women's Champion Nia Jax addressed the major change behind the scenes.

In the past few years, the locker room culture has significantly changed in the Stamford-based promotion. WWE has enhanced its creative process under the new leadership and superstars can creatively express it to the management.

In an interview with Battleground Podcast, the former RAW Women's Champion and former WWE Women's Tag Team Champion Nia Jax opened up about the positive change in locker room culture that she witnessed after returning to the company.

"The locker room culture is constantly changing, but I do find it as though we have more of a support system for each other. I come from a team background. I've played sports my whole life and it's always been like your only strong is your weakest link. Previously, everyone took it like a me-me-me sort of thing, and 'I need to do this.' Now, we're more like, 'We all need to come together to support so and so.' So, I think it's more like a team and group effort in the locker room," Jax said.

The Irresistible Force added:

"I also feel like a lot of our creative and producers are more just like, 'Hey this is what we're doing but make sure you realize like go have fun. Go enjoy what you're doing.' It's not like where, 'Oh my gosh I did this and I'm going to have so many repercussions when I get backstage.' It's more of like, try something. If doesn't work out, we'll figure it out later," Jax said. [From 11:36 to 12:32]

What did Nia Jax do under Triple H's regime upon returning to WWE?

Last year in September, The Irresistible Force made a surprising return to WWE and went after Rhea Ripley. After a short feud with The Man, Nia Jax headlined Elimination Chamber 2024 in Perth against Mami and lost.

Earlier this year, The Irresistible Force went to Friday Night SmackDown. Apart from aligning with Tiffany Stratton on SmackDown, Nia Jax won the Queen of the Ring Tournament in Saudi Arabia.

In less than three weeks, Nia Jax is set to face The Role Model for the WWE Women's Championship at The Biggest Party of the Summer at Cleveland Browns Stadium in Ohio.
