Bill Goldberg made his return to the WWE which was 12 years in the making. For years fans wondered if Goldberg would ever return given that he hadn’t left on the best of terms with WWE. However, after tonight, there was no doubt that the return was indeed a triumphant one.
Fans relived the return of the iconic entrance which hadn’t been seen for over a decade.

Goldberg had tweeted he would be returning in person to answer Heyman’s challenge last week, and the Denver crowd was more than receptive towards the legend. In his passionate promo, he spoke about how he was contacted by 2K to be part of 2K17 this past January, and he was unsure as to whether he would make his return to the ring.
However, after the advocate of The Beast Incarnate challenged him, he needed to accept.

It is set in stone that the two will face off. Although it has not been announced exactly when, it is expected to take place at Survivor Series next month in Toronto, being the main event and attraction of the show. It was reported that while this is set to be a one-off for Goldberg, it may change depending on the reaction he gets.
Here’s a full video of Goldberg’s promo after his return:
Tonight on Raw it only proved that the fans had indeed not forgotten him. The adrenalin rush of his return left Goldberg in a state where he was in no mood to answer any questions put forward to him after the show went off the air

It will be interesting to see how the build plays out. Naturally, WWE will not want a stinker of a match, and it is an opportunity for both Goldberg and Lesnar to right the wrong of their first runs with WWE, where they both were booed heavily by the crowd at Wrestlemania XX due to the fact that the news spread that both men were leaving.
However, time heals all wounds and it is highly possible that there may be retribution for both icons.
