Grayson Waller promotes major wrestling appearances outside of WWE

WWE Superstar Grayson Waller recently shared a social media update to promote his upcoming in-ring appearance outside the Stamford-based company. The Aussie Icon is set to compete in the Pro Wrestling Australia (PWA) ring next month.

The 34-year-old, alongside his tag team partner Austin Theory, is an integral part of the blue brand. Despite their awful win/loss record, the former WWE Tag Team Champions feature regularly on television. The duo has stuck together amid several teases of splitting up over the past few weeks.

Grayson Waller is scheduled to face Jimmy Townsend in a match on PWA's Colosseum grand finale on October 12, 2024. He recently took to Instagram Stories to promote the contest by sharing his former wrestling promotion's post advertising the upcoming event.

Veteran journalist praises Grayson Waller; suggests WWE make major changes

Veteran journalist Bill Apter recently suggested how WWE should book Grayson Waller and Austin Theory following a potential breakup.

During a recent episode of Smack Talk, Apter claimed it would be better for A-Town Down Under to split up and compete in singles competition. The 78-year-old praised Waller, referring to the latter as a hell of a competitor. The veteran stated that the fans could get behind Waller if he were to turn babyface.

Bill Apter further pointed out that former United States Champion Austin Theory, on the other hand, is an incredible heel.

"Grayson Waller is a hell of a competitor. If he somewhere down the line turns babyface, I think we'd have a great character that the fans could really go for. Austin Theory is an incredible heel and he's not being used like they should use him in my opinion. Once again, he should be on the singles ratings right now. So, I see a breakup," said Apter.
