Grudge match set for WWE RAW

The goal of most WWE Superstars is championship gold, but many are focused on seeking revenge and ending feuds. Monday's RAW will see two rivals come to blows in another grudge match on the red brand.

Ivy Nile and Maxxine Dupri began teaming up earlier this year. The former MMA fighter later offered support to Maxxine as Alpha Academy internally dealt with Chad Gable's heel antics. Last Monday's RAW saw American Made's The Creed Brothers win a Texas Tornado Match over Alpha Academy's Otis and Akira Tozawa, who were accompanied to the ring by Maxxine.

The finish to the match saw Nile turn on Dupri, and the distraction allowed the Creed Brothers to get the win. The Pitbull and The Alpha Queen will now do battle on the red brand tomorrow night. Dupri revealed on social media that the grudge match was booked by RAW's General Manager, Adam Pearce.

Tomorrow's edition of the red brand will mark the first-ever singles bout between Nile and Dupri. The last time they teamed up was Fatal Four-Way Match on the May 20 edition of RAW, which also featured Damage CTRL, Katana Chance & Kayden Carter, and the winners Shayna Baszler & Zoey Stark.

WWE RAW updated lineup for Monday

World Wrestling Entertainment will invade the Amerant Bank Arena on Monday for a live RAW on the USA Network. This will be the final episode before the Bash in Berlin go-home show next week.

WWE officials have now announced four matches and two segments for RAW. Below is the current lineup:

  • Randy Orton will appear
  • CM Punk has a "can't miss message" for Drew McIntyre
  • Grudge Match: Maxxine Dupri vs. Ivy Nile
  • Sheamus vs. Pete Dunne
  • Karrion Kross, Akam, and Rezar vs. Kofi Kingston, Xavier Woods, and Odyssey Jones
  • Women's Tag Team Championship Triple Threat Match: The Unholy Union (c) vs. The Pure Fusion Collective vs. Damage CTRL.

The arena is touting Orton's segment as a "special appearance," but the SmackDown star has been on the red brand in recent weeks for the WWE Bash in Berlin feud against Gunther. The following superstars are also listed for RAW by the promotion and arena websites: Gunther, Liv Morgan, Jey Uso, Drew McIntyre, Sami Zayn, and The Awesome Truth.
