Gunther addresses Imperium's future ahead of WWE SummerSlam
Gunther is one of the biggest stars on Monday Night RAW without or without any backup. Recently, The Ring General made a major revelation by addressing Imperium's future in the company.
Earlier this year, many believed that Imperium ended when Ludwig Kaiser and Gunther removed Giovanni Vinci from the group on an episode of RAW. However, it's not over for Imperium yet. In an interview with Gorilla Position, Gunther addressed Imperium's future ahead of WWE SummerSlam and claimed they're a duo now.
"I mean, it's a duo right now, but I think it's important now that he [Ludwig Kaiser] does things on his own, and it's important, obviously. We'll always have that bond and always stick together when it's necessary, that won't change, but that also doesn't mean we always have to be seen together every minute on television. I think everybody's aware that there's a connection, and there's no reason to assume it's not there anymore," Gunther said.
Moreover, he stated the group has not ended and he can always rely on Kaiser.
"But I've always been about handling my matches myself without wanting or needing help. He's [Ludwig Kaiser] going to do the same now, and I think it's a very good experience to make and it's a very good path to follow. Yeah, if things get dangerous or difficult for me or him, we always know we can rely on each other," The Ring General said. [From 07:05 to 07:55]

Gunther will compete at WWE SummerSlam in Ohio
Earlier this year, Gunther went on a short hiatus following his loss to Sami Zayn at WrestleMania XL in Philadelphia. After losing the Intercontinental Championship, The Ring General returned stronger than before and announced his entry in the King of the Ring tournament.
The 36-year-old star dominated the bracket and won the tournament against Randy Orton in Saudi Arabia. Before he won the tournament, Triple H announced that the winners of the King and Queen of the Ring Tournaments would receive a shot at their respective brand's World Champion at The Biggest Party of the Summer.
Damian Priest defied all odds as the World Heavyweight Champion and will defend the title in a one-on-one match against The Ring General at WWE SummerSlam in Ohio.
