Gunther pays the price after taking a deeply personal shot at Randy Orton in their segment on RAW

Randy Orton's segment with Gunther got personal very quickly. The Ring General is always one for psychological warfare, but he took it too far and paid the price.

On Monday Night RAW this week, Randy Orton came out to hype up his Bash in Berlin match against World Heavyweight Champion Gunther. Of course, The Ring General came out, and the psychological warfare began.

While Orton didn't seem to mind the World Heavyweight Champion calling out his wasted potential, he had an issue when Gunther called Orton's grandfather and father "Screw-ups." This eventually led to the champion getting an RKO.

The RKO was only partially out of nowhere. Drew McIntyre came out to seemingly make a statement, only to be drowned out in "CM Punk" chants. As soon as McIntyre was ready to open his mouth, The Ring General looked back and was hit with an RKO.

He paid the price for his comments, and while all of that was happening, CM Punk appeared out of nowhere and chased McIntyre again for the second week in a row. This week, he did some damage to the Scotsman.

Orton is looking to become a 15-time world champion in Berlin.
