Gunther's latest 'recruit' sends a message after WWE champion invites him to join Imperium at Survivor Series
A popular WWE star and Gunther's latest 'recruit' recently took to social media to send a message after the World Heavyweight Champion invited him to join Imperium. The name in question is current RAW commentator Wade Barrett.
At the Survivor Series: WarGames post-show panel, Wade Barrett, Big E, and Jackie Redmond had a conversation with Gunther following The Ring General's massive win against Damian Priest. During the discussion, Barrett mentioned that he wore a suit for the night in support of the Austrian and Ludwig Kaiser, asking if there was any chance he could get recruited to Imperium.
Without hesitation, Gunther said that he and Kaiser believed that the former Nexus member might be the perfect fit for their faction. Wade Barrett recently took to his Instagram Stories to upload a photo with Big E from the Countdown to Survivor Series: WarGames.
In his post, Barrett sent a message by highlighting his WWE Intercontinental Championship wins with a five-finger gesture. The RAW commentator did this gesture after Michael Cole mentioned this accolade while introducing the former Nexus member on the Countdown to Survivor Series: WarGames panel.

Wade Barrett talked about Triple H's creative leadership in WWE
During an interview with PWMania, Wade Barrett said that the most exciting thing for him under Triple H's creative leadership was that no one knew what to expect during the biggest shows of the company, keeping fans on their toes.
"That, to me, is really, really exciting, and I think that one of the key factors in the success of Triple H is his ability to keep the audience guessing and not be so formulaic. I love that as a fan of professional wrestling. It keeps me excited and keeps our fans intrigued, and to me, that's the biggest difference of all of it. This question marks that pretty much every weekly show has," he said.
Many fans want to see Wade Barrett come out of retirement after Gunther invited him to join Imperium. It will be interesting to see what the former WWE Intercontinental Champion has planned for his future inside the squared circle.
