Gunther sends a message directed at 34-year-old WWE Superstar; seemingly wants his longterm rival to be dealt with
After this week's WWE RAW, Gunther sent a message directed at his Imperium stablemate, Ludwig Kaiser. Kaiser lost to Sheamus on the show but later made sure to put The Celtic Warrior on notice.
Following the loss, Kaiser expressed his frustration in a backstage interview with Cathy Kelley. This wasn't the 34-year-old's first loss to the former WWE Champion, as they have already crossed paths on multiple occasions in the past.
Reacting to Kaiser's interview, Gunther sent a four-word message motivating him and suggesting he take things slow:
"Marathon, not a sprint !" Gunther wrote.

Vince Russo believes WWE can't book Gunther vs. Brock Lesnar
The idea of a potential match between Gunther and Brock Lesnar has been thrown around quite a lot in recent years. However, Vince Russo believes the match cannot be booked after Sami Zayn's victory over The Ring General at WrestleMania XL.
Speaking on Sportskeeda Wrestling's Writing with Russo, Russo explained:
"I gotta be honest with you bro, and I can't get this out of my head. I can't get past Sami Zayn beating Gunther. I just can't... And then not only that, then Gunther didn't wanna wrestle him? (...) So Gunther didn't wanna wrestle Sami Zayn, but he is gonna wanna wrestle Brock Lesnar? I mean think about that!"
At the upcoming Crown Jewel Premium Live Event, Gunther will face Cody Rhodes for the inaugural Crown Jewel Championship. The reigning WWE World Heavyweight Champion is hopeful of becoming a double champion, especially after winning the World Heavyweight Championship at SummerSlam.
Since beating Damian Priest for the title, Gunther has successfully defended it against Randy Orton, whom he defeated at the Bash in Berlin Premium Live Event. He also retained the title against Sami Zayn in a match on Monday Night RAW.
