Gunther sends a one-word message ahead of his match against Finn Balor on WWE RAW
On this week's WWE RAW, Gunther and Finn Balor are set to collide in singles action. The Ring General will aim for a major victory just days before the SummerSlam Premium Live Event.
At the upcoming PLE, Gunther will challenge Damian Priest for the World Heavyweight Championship. He earned a shot at the title after winning the King of the Ring Tournament, earlier this year, defeating Randy Orton in the final.
Gunther and Balor will headline this week's Monday Night RAW. The Judgment Day member will search for a major victory and put a halt to The Ring General's momentum leading up to his World Heavyweight Championship match. On X (fka Twitter), Gunther sent a one-word message hyping up the showdown.
"Tonight!" wrote Gunther.

Bill Apter expects a classy match between Gunther and Damian Priest at WWE SummerSlam
Gunther and Damian Priest are regarded as two of the best in-ring talents in WWE. Priest, who won the World Heavyweight Championship at WrestleMania XL, has successfully defended the title against Jey Uso, Drew McIntyre, and Seth Rollins so far.
Meanwhile, Gunther held the WWE Intercontinental Championship for 666 days before losing the title to Sami Zayn at WrestleMania XL. The Ring General has also shared the ring with top names including Randy Orton, and Sheamus, among others.
Speaking on Sportskeeda Wrestling's The Wrestling Time Machine show, Bill Apter stated that he expects a "classy" match between the champion and the challenger. He said both wrestlers knew each other well and had come a long way from their younger days when they both looked different. Apter said he expected a great match between the experienced campaigners.
"These two have been competing against each other in Europe and indies for about 10 or 11 years," Apter stated. "They were both chunky guys. They didn't look anything like they do now. So what do I expect? I expect a classy match, even though on Monday Night RAW when that ran it seemed like the usual confrontation."
At The Biggest Party of the Summer, the 35-year-old could win his second major singles championship on the main roster if he manages to overcome The Judgment Day member.
