Gunther to split from his partner, claims WWE personality: "We're getting further and further away"
Gunther is the current World Heavyweight Champion, and WWE analyst Peter Rosenberg believes he might be getting "further away" from his partner. There has been some tension between The Ring General and Ludwig Kaiser recently.
During the build to Gunther's match against Damian Priest at Survivor Series: WarGames, there were seeds of doubt planted in the champ's mind that affected his confidence. It didn't help that he and Kaiser appear to be having some issues as well.
Nevertheless, the reigning World Heavyweight Champion retained his title and regained his confidence. Rosenberg believes that the Austrian star is slowly evolving away from his Imperium character and into a new one, who could be more likable.
"I like that the character is evolving a bit. He is becoming this, he's just an athlete. He's just an athlete who tries his hardest. He’s honest, he’s fair like, this to me, he needs to continue to develop, obviously. We're getting further and further away from the Imperium version of him," Rosenberg said. [From 21:50 to 22:08]

The Ring and Ludwig Kaiser are still together as Imperium but have been doing things separately. Kaiser recently challenged Bron Breakker for the Intercontinental Championship but lost in a valiant effort.
Gunther sends a message to Logan Paul
At the WWE RAW on Netflix Kickoff event last Wednesday, Logan Paul announced that he has switched brands. Paul is now part of RAW and has set his sights on becoming a World Champion. Gunther was not fond of Paul's goals, sending a warning to the "Maverick" in an interview at the same event.
"I think my English is pretty good by now, but I’ll make it even simpler. If Logan Paul thinks he can walk in here and take this away from me, if he ever makes it to the top of the line to challenge me for the World Heavyweight Championship, it will be my duty and my pleasure to slap that stupid smirk out of his face," Gunther said. The reigning World Heavyweight Champion does not have a new challenger, so it will be interesting to see if Logan Paul gets a shot at the title, possibly at RAW's debut episode on Netflix, which already has a stacked card from top to bottom.
