Gunther would squash WWE RAW star in 5 seconds; the match would be a bloodbath, says veteran
A Fatal Four-Way Match is set to happen on WWE RAW this Monday to determine the Number One Contender for Gunther's World Heavyweight Championship. A wrestling veteran has now claimed one of the four stars competing in the four-way bout would get squashed by The Ring General if he qualified. This was suggested by former WWE Superstar Matt Morgan.
Gunther last defended his World Heavyweight Championship against Sami Zayn on WWE RAW. However, he lost to Cody Rhodes last Saturday in a Crown Jewel Championship match in Saudi Arabia. The Ring General will now put his championship on the line against the winner of a Fatal Four-Way Match between Seth Rollins, Dominik Mysterio, Damian Priest, and Sheamus that will take place this Monday on the red brand.
Speaking on the Gigantic Pop podcast, Matt Morgan claimed no one would care about a match between Gunther and Dominik Mysterio. He predicted that a potential square-off between the two would be a "bloodbath" and The Ring General would squash the Judgment Day member in five seconds.
"Nobody's giving a sh*t about Dom vs. Gunther because that would be a bloodbath. Gunther would cave his little bony chest in with the chops. It would last like five seconds," he said. [22:41 - 22:50]
Dominik Mysterio lost to Gunther on WWE RAW in March
Since his arrival to WWE, Dominik Mysterio has held the SmackDown Tag Team Championship and the NXT North American Title. He now believes he is ready to become the World Heavyweight Champion.
The Judgment Day member squared off against the current World Heavyweight Champion Gunther earlier this year in March on Monday Night RAW. However, the 27-year-old lost to The Ring General.
While Dirty Dom is the least experienced competitor in the upcoming four-way World Heavyweight Championship Number One Contender's match, it would be interesting to see if The Judgment Day would help him come out on top, especially after Finn was not seen helping during Dom's win over Damian Priest on RAW.
