Hall of Famer Kane posts a picture with an ex-WWE name
WWE Hall of Famer Kane posted a picture with an ex-WWE name on social media today. They have a long history during their careers in the company.
Kane has not been seen in WWE for quite a long time, with the star having retired from in-ring competition to pursue his political goals instead. As the mayor of Knox County, he has taken it upon himself to push the Republican agenda. He has previously appeared on-screen with another Hall of Famer and former US President, Donald Trump himself. The star has now posted a picture with a member of the McMahon family, Shane and Stephanie's mother, Linda McMahon.
He said it was great to run into her and called her his friend.
"Great to have ran into my friend and strong conservative freedom fighter @Linda_McMahon today!"
Linda McMahon has not had the best luck politically, just as the McMahons are no longer involved with WWE as much. Linda has contested for US Senate seats, falling short both times. However, she was appointed to the Small Business Administration department by Donald Trump previously.
While she has been no longer with that department since 2019, she was involved with the America First Action pro-Trump Super PAC, which helped raise money for the Hall of Famer's re-election campaign in 2020.
Kane's last appearance was two years ago in WWE
While the star would appear for The Undertaker's retirement ceremony back in 2020, he would actually get involved in the ring after that, appearing at the Royal Rumble in 2021. He was then inducted into the Hall of Fame before attending The Undertaker's induction in 2022.
That year, he also appeared at the SummerSlam show, where he announced the incredible attendance figures from the night, hitting his pyro before leaving.
This remains Kane's last appearance for now, although it appears that plans for him to appear at the Royal Rumble were canceled.
