Hall of Famer makes wild claim about Jimmy Uso's future in WWE: "It's just a matter of time"
Jimmy Uso returned at Bad Blood after several months of absence from WWE television. He has since rejoined forces with Roman Reigns. Hall of Famer D-Von Dudley recently made a wild prediction about Big Jim's future.
The 39-year-old has had massive success as a tag team competitor alongside his twin brother, Jey Uso. However, the two split after Jimmy betrayed Jey during the latter's match against Roman Reigns at SummerSlam last year. While his twin brother received a significant push as a singles competitor since moving from SmackDown to Monday Night RAW, Jimmy did not get a similar opportunity.
In an interview with the Not4TheWeek podcast, WWE Hall of Famer D-Von Dudley claimed Jimmy will eventually receive a push similar to his brother's and will be successful, too:
"Right now, you know, I think Jimmy's growing. I think Jimmy's coming back from some setbacks of his own. And, eventually, Jimmy will get the same opportunity that Jey did and he'll blow it out the box too. Both of them will be very successful at what they're doing. So, I think it's only a matter of time. I think we shouldn't rush anything. We should just wait and see what happens and see how it deals us because, again, they're both talented, they're both young, they're both hungry, and they both have what it takes to make it," he said. Drew McIntyre targeted Jimmy Uso on WWE SmackDown
Over the past few weeks, Drew McIntyre made a point by targeting the OG Bloodline members. After taking out Jey Uso and Sami Zayn on RAW, he also targeted Jimmy Uso on SmackDown. The Scottish Warrior beat The Honorary Uce at Saturday Night's Main Event last weekend.
Last Friday, McIntyre confronted Solo Sikoa and The Bloodline. He asked the self-proclaimed Tribal Chief to finish Roman Reigns when they square off in Tribal Combat on RAW's debut episode on Netflix. Jimmy Uso then surprisingly attacked the former WWE Champion.
While Jimmy is currently injured, it would be interesting to see if his next storyline would be with McIntyre.
