"Have patience" - 39-year-old WWE RAW star on possibly reverting to his old NXT character
WWE RAW Superstar Karrion Kross has commented on possibly changing his character on the main roster by reverting to his NXT look. He had a successful run on the developmental brand during the Black and Gold era.
The Herald of Doomsday is the leader of The Final Testament, a faction that includes his wife Scarlett, Akam, Rezar, and Paul Ellering. They are part of the RAW roster and are currently involved in an angle with The Miz and R-Truth. When Kross was in NXT, he was bald and had a different entrance and theme song.
While speaking in a recent interview with INSIGHT with Chris Van Vliet, the 39-year-old star commented on potentially undergoing a character change by stating:
"Have patience. Bear with me. I’m trying. Again, the minefield that is being in front of the camera and trying to be as open and honest as possible. I could say exactly how I feel about it, what I’d like to do. I’m sure people could imagine, and they could also imagine it will irk people at work for me to be like, hey, I’m aware of what you want to see out of me. I’m always trying to find a way to make both parties happy. I’m the wrestler, not the writer or the director for a lack of better words, I know, believe me."
Karrion Kross has not wrestled on WWE RAW since August 2024
It has been a while since Karrion Kross has competed on WWE RAW. He appears on the show regularly but his last match on the red brand was on August 26, 2024, when he faced Kofi Kingston and Jey Uso in a Triple Threat Match, which was part of a number-one contender's tournament for the Intercontinental Championship.
The bout was won by The Yeet Master. The last time Kross wrestled at a premium live event was at WWE WrestleMania XL, where The Pride defeated The Final Testament in a Six-Man Tag Team Philadelphia Street Fight.
