"Haven't killed me yet" - Randy Orton gets a message from WWE legend ahead of Saturday Night's Main Event

Randy Orton has grown from being "The Legend Killer" to a legend himself. However, the moniker is still associated with Orton. In the last decade, he has made use of these characteristic traits on many occasions. Another legend in the business has now claimed that The Viper has not killed him yet.

The mystery man is WWE Hall of Famer Diamond Dallas Page. Despite Orton's credibility and star power, Page feels that the 14-time World Champion is still underrated because the latter could be considered in the Mount Rushmore of athletes in the wrestling business. Page and Orton also have something in common, and that is their in-ring finisher, which is a modified cutter.

In an interview with Chris Van Vliet, DDP got to talking about Randy Orton, whom he called one of his favorites. Although the Hall of Famer mostly had good things to say, he noted that The Legend Killer never got to add him to the list:

"The Legend Killer, but haven't killed me yet," Diamond Dallas Page bursts out laughing. "I want to take [the RKO] so bad. I do. I had this vision of the [Royal] Rumble, right? And if it comes down to—here comes Randy, and he freaking goes for it, and I get out of it. Then I go for [the Diamond Cutter], and he gets out of it. And then it turns into, of course, the RKO." Although Diamond Dallas Page wants to work the aforementioned spot with The Legend Killer, the Hall of Famer also noted in the interview that he will not step into the squared circle again.

Could Randy Orton return at WWE Saturday Night's Main Event?

Randy Orton was last seen on the November 8th episode of SmackDown, where he was hit with a Piledriver, a banned move in WWE, by Kevin Owens. He was rushed out of the arena on a stretcher.

The weight of Orton's injury is unclear, but it is believed to be part of the storyline. Meanwhile, The Prizefighter has a shot at the Undisputed WWE Championship at Saturday Night's Main Event tomorrow as The American Nightmare wants revenge.

Whether for The American Nightmare, to stop The Prizefighter, or for his personal gain, The Legend Killer could make a comeback to stop Owens from defeating Cody Rhodes.
