"He got over" - Konnan speaks highly of 30-year-old star's debut on WWE RAW

WWE is heading into the final months of the year, and a new face has been introduced on the main roster. Wrestling veteran Konnan recently spoke highly of Odyssey Jones' debut on Monday Night RAW.

Last week, the 30-year-old made a power-packed debut on Monday Night RAW, as he went after Karrion Kross and The Final Testament. Jones immediately gained attention from fans and veterans, thanks to his dominant physique and brute force.

Speaking on Keepin' It 100 OFFICIAL, Konnan spoke highly of Odyssey Jones' debut on Monday Night RAW. The veteran praised the angle and made comparisons with a young Keith Lee. Moreover, the 60-year-old claimed that Jones had already gotten over with the crowd.

"Very good debut for somebody I had forgotten about. I don't know if he [Odyssey Jones] was injured in NXT, because I hadn't seen him in a long time. The guy is humongous; kinda looks like a more agile Keith Lee when [Keith] Lee was younger and could go. He's very athletic for being so big. Good introduction; he got over," Konnan said. Odyssey Jones is currently in a storyline with The New Day on WWE RAW

Earlier this year, Karrion Kross' The Final Testament targeted The New Day as The Herald of Doomsday claimed that Kofi Kingston was holding back Xavier Woods, urging the former King of the Ring to align with the villainous faction.

After weeks of feuding on Monday Night RAW, Kingston introduced Odyssey Jones as a backup last week. However, the former WWE Champion seemingly didn't discuss the move with Xavier Woods, and the latter seemed a bit upset.

On the recent edition of WWE RAW, Odyssey Jones locked horns with Vincent Winey. After winning the one-on-one bout, he was joined by The New Day, and the trio was confronted by The Final Testament. The heel faction accused Kingston of trying to replace Woods with Jones.

The New Day and Odyssey Jones will lock horns with The Final Testament in a six-man tag team match next Monday. It will be interesting to see how the saga unfolds next week.
