"He hit on my wife" - WWE Hall of Famer details shocking incident with Hulk Hogan
WWE Hall of Famer Hulk Hogan often makes the headlines due to some wild story from the past. Recently, Brutus "The Barber" Beefcake shared a shocking incident with The Hulkster when the multi-time World Champion allegedly ''hit on'' Beefcake's wife.
Brutus Beefcake and Hulk Hogan were best friends when they were on the road together as in-ring performers. However, the two went their separate ways years later and haven't reconciled or reconnected following the end of their careers as full-time performers.
In an interview with Inside The Ropes, Beefcake recalled an incident in Hulk Hogan's house where The Hulkster tried to put a few moves on Beefcake's wife and made a shocking comment, which offended her. She gave a brutally honest reply, which gave the megastar a reality check.
"He hit on my wife in his kitchen with his wife there... My wife's from Boston. So, she doesn't mince words. She told him where to get off and told him 'I'm only here for one reason and that's Brutus Beefcake.' She says 'I came because I wanted to meet Terry Bollea, my husband's lifelong friend. I don't know or care who Hulk Hogan is at all.' I guess his ego was so bruised that he couldn't even face her again," Beefcake said. [From 02:58 to 04:17]

WWE Hall of Famer on whether association with Hulk Hogan helped his career
Back in the 80s and 90s, association with Hulk Hogan of any kind often helped a star's career in the Stamford-based promotion. The trend continued when The Hulkster jump-shipped to WCW, and his friends also received special treatment for following the megastar.
In the same interview from Inside The Ropes, WWE Hall of Famer Brutus Beefcake was asked if association with Hogan was a blessing or a curse to his career. The veteran said it worked in both ways but pointed out that he helped The Hulkster to reach the heights he did back in the day.
"Both. You know, both ways. People don't understand that coming up in those early years, and I was the factor that helped to get [Hulk] Hogan launched to where he was making money... I did everything for him to be a top top guy," Beefcake said. [From 01:10 to 01:50]
The two were close friends for a long time but never captured gold together in WWE before their fallout.
