"He has a point"- WWE veteran shares thoughts on Kevin Owens' heel turn (Exclusive)

Kevin Owens has been doing some of the best work of his WWE career since turning heel a few months back. Wrestling veteran Dutch Mantell also praised the Prizefighter's character development during his recent appearance on Sportskeeda Wrestling's Smack Talk.

KO turned heel after Cody Rhodes teamed up with Roman Reigns. He has already taken out Randy Orton and the American Nightmare in the last few months. Owens also stole Rhodes' Winged Eagle WWE Championship after injuring him at Saturday Night's Main Event.

Dutch Mantell shared his thoughts on the former Universal Champion's work, stating that his heel turn is justified and he is playing his character well:

"He has a point. He could make a point this is how it led up to this. Remember this, I was told this many many years ago by an old-time wrestler. He said a great heel is always the victim. Always. He had a point. Whoever is writing this story is making him a great heel." [27:51 onwards]

Kevin Owens also got into an altercation with Triple H after taking out Cody Rhodes at Saturday Night's Main Event. He still walks around with the Winged Eagle title, and will even defend it at WWE's upcoming house shows.
