"He was put on court-martial and tossed out" - Hall of Famer discloses shocking detail about Vince McMahon's childhood (Exclusive)
Former WWE CEO Vince McMahon's Netflix docuseries, titled Mr. McMahon, came out a few weeks ago, immediately drawing the attention of the pro-wrestling community. While the episodes showed Mr. McMahon's life chronologically, a veteran says one detail was left out.
Mr. McMahon was shown to have quite a sharp mind right from a young age, catching on to the workings of Vince McMahon Sr.'s wrestling business relatively fast. He then expanded the Stamford-based promotion rapidly, taking some ruthless measures to solidify his monopoly. However, legendary wrestling journalist Bill Apter noticed in the docuseries that there was no mention of Mr. McMahon being sent to military school at one point in his childhood.
While speaking on Sportskeeda Wrestling's UnSKripted podcast, the 78-year-old veteran stated:
"They mentioned the abuse and everything that he (Vince McMahon) suffered as a child, they didn't mention anything about him being sent to military school. Nothing about it. And he was allegedly such a brat at the military school that he was put on court martial and tossed out. This is the story that goes. But, his family did send him to military school." [8:47 - 9:20]
