"He did the right thing" - Karrion Kross on 29-year-old WWE star's stunning heel turn
Karrion Kross was quite understanding of a certain 29-year-old WWE star's heel turn. Following the shocking moment on NXT, he tweeted out his support for the superstar who got frustrated.
On Night Two of NXT's Great American Bash, Wes Lee teamed up with his Rascalz brother Zachary Wentz to challenge for the NXT Tag Team Championships held by Axiom and Nathan Frazer. In an epic contest, the champions Axion and Frazer would retain, leaving The Rascalz upset and frustrated.
But nobody was more frustrated than Wes Lee - a man that many consider the greatest NXT North American Champion of all time. As a result, he turned on Trey Miguel and Zachary Wentz, taking out both stars, to cement his stunning heel turn.
In the immediate aftermath of it, Karrion Kross tweeted out "He did the right thing" - which shouldn't come as a surprise considering his current bad guy character.
Kross has been trying to get Xavier Woods to join The Final Testament to no avail. He's even traded wins with Woods and has more often than not been getting the better of him. However, things changed in a big way this week on RAW.
Karrion Kross and the Final Testament have a new problem on their hands
Karrion Kross probably didn't expect the arrival of Odyssey Jones - and who could have? It's been over a year since Odyssey Jones was drafted to WWE RAW but he was sitting on the sidelines for seemingly no reason other than a lack of creative plans for him.
However, WWE seems to have finally found something for him and it looks like he will be aligning with The New Day's Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods. In a display of utter dominance, he would lift both members of AOP simultaneously, Akam and Rezar before proceeding to take out Kross.
Perhaps The Final Testament will have a new target to recruit instead of an enemy to fight in the coming days.
