"He's come full circle" - Wrestling veteran opens up on Hulk Hogan's recent public appearance (Exclusive)

Former WWE manager Dutch Mantell spoke about Hulk Hogan's recent public appearance. The star was seen at the Republican National Convention in Milwaukee this past week.

The legendary wrestling star endorsed Presidential candidate Donald Trump for the upcoming US elections. He tore off his shirt in unique Hogan fashion and claimed Trump would help usher in a new era of "Trump-a-mania."

During this week's episode of Sportskeeda Wrestling's Smack Talk, Mantell pointed out how everyone at the event knew Hulk Hogan. He felt this was a huge turnaround for the WWE Hall of Famer after the Gawker controversy had him blacklisted from the industry.

"I'm looking at that crowd and I'm going, wow, all these are wrestling fans? Because you're looking at mid-America out there and they knew who he was. Everybody knew who he was. And remember three, four, or five years ago he was almost cancelled and everybody didn't have anything to do with him. Now he's come full circle. Now he's back and giving a convention speech for Trump." [From 7:55 onwards]

During the same conversation, Mantell congratulated Hulk Hogan for a great job and said he was glad to see the star doing public appearances.

"Hulk didn't blow it. Hulk did a good job. So I'm glad."

Donald Trump was also at the event with his wife Melania. Other stars at the show included former UFC President Dana White and musician Kid Rock.
