"He's a true fan" - Triple H's creative choices on WWE's main roster draw significant remarks from 4-time champion
Triple H's creative choices on WWE's main roster have reignited the passion the product had lost under the old regime. Recently, Tommaso Ciampa spoke highly of The Game's choices over the past few months.
Earlier this year, new changes took place on the main roster when classic PLE's and matches returned under Triple H's creative leadership. The WWE Universe got to witness some fan-favorite gimmick matches and events, which the old regime had completely shunned.
In an interview on Battleground Podcast, the former two-time NXT Champion, and two-time Tag Team Champion with Johnny Gargano, spoke highly of Triple H's creative choices of bringing back a few nostalgic matches and events to the main roster.
"One of the things that I love about Hunter's been doing and what he even did at NXT is he's a true fan of the business, right? So, he takes things that he's like 'Well, I remember liking this as a fan or enjoying being part of this as a performer. So let's bring it back.' It's awesome when he brings nostalgic stuff back [KOTR, WarGames, Hell in a Cell, and Saturday Night's Main Event] and then you get this new version of it because the business has progressed so much." Triple H made an appearance on WWE SmackDown
Earlier this year, Triple H's involvement on live TV increased as the company went on to host its biggest WrestleMania of all time in Philadelphia. Later, The Game went away from television and focused on promoting the event.
After WrestleMania XL and a heartfelt moment with Cody Rhodes on WWE RAW, The King of Kings made two appearances and unveiled new tag belts for both brands.
Later, he made a few appearances and often kicked off the post-show press conference. On the recent edition of WWE SmackDown on the USA Network, The Game once again made an appearance to kick off the show.
After hyping the blue brand's return to the USA Network, Hunter went back to the gorilla to resume his day-to-day duties. It'll be interesting to see when the 14-time World Champion appears next.
