"He stepped up" - Jey Uso defends former WWE champion against Jimmy Uso on RAW
Jey Uso stood up for his former ally and foe against Jimmy Uso on the latest episode of WWE RAW. He wouldn't let his twin brother throw shade at Sami Zayn.
The former WWE Tag Team Champions finally reunited on SmackDown last week and were involved in the opening segment of the red brand this week, which saw them address their relationship and sort out their differences. The Yeet Master even agreed to show up on the blue brand this Friday to meet with 'The OTC' Roman Reigns.
The Usos ran into Sami Zayn backstage on WWE RAW, and the latter told Jey Uso that he wanted to speak with him alone. Zayn questioned the former Intercontinental Champion's decision-making regarding The Bloodline situation. The latter responded by saying that Sami wouldn't understand because he wasn't family.
During another backstage segment between The Usos, Jey told Jimmy about what he said to Sami Zayn, and he felt regretful. His brother agreed that Sami wasn't family.
However, Jey stood up for Zayn by telling Jimmy that the Canadian star stepped up after he left and that he wouldn't understand either.
"Hey, man. When you left, he stepped up. Man... you don't understand either," Jey said.
Following this, Jimmy Uso assured Jey Uso that he would speak to Sami Zayn himself.
