"Here's to many more years" - Former WWE Champion sends a message after signing a new deal with the company

Multi-time world champion Sheamus has taken to social media to send out a message after signing a new deal with WWE. The wrestling veteran will remain a part of the Stamford-based company for a couple of more years.

It was recently reported by Fightful that The Celtic Warrior had signed a new contract, which means he'll remain on TV for the foreseeable future. He is currently involved in a storyline with Pete Dunne. The two stars used to be part of a stable known as Brawling Brutes, but they've now become rivals.

Sheamus recently shared a photo of himself on X enjoying a pint and wrote that he's looking forward to many more years with WWE.

"Here’s to many more years of getting paid for doing what I love most.. Kicking fellas in the face & having banger after banger.. ANNND thanks to each ‘n’ every one of you beautiful legends. Sláinte!" wrote Sheamus.

WWE veteran Vince Russo feels fans won't care about watching Sheamus after his loss on this week's RAW

The Celtic Warrior had a match against Pete Dunne on RAW this week, which was won by The Bruiserweight. Dunne blames the former world champion for the 'Butch' persona that he had.

Speaking on Sportskeeda Wrestling's Legion of RAW, Vince Russo shared that fans aren't interested in the storyline between Sheamus and Pete Dunne, especially since Dunne got the win on RAW.

"So Pete Dunne beat Sheamus. Do you give one iota about Sheamus getting his revenge back? Do you ever care if Sheamus ever gets Pete Dunne in the ring to get his win back? Who cares about that?" questioned Russo.

Sheamus wants to win the Intercontinental Championship and become a Grand Slam Champion in WWE. Now that he's staying in the company, only time will tell whether he manages to achieve his dreams.
