Hikuleo joining The Bloodline for Survivor Series may be a mistake, former WWE analyst says

WWE appears to be building towards the new Bloodline vs. the original version at Survivor Series: WarGames. On account of this, the company's latest reported signing, Hikuleo, has become a topic of discussion.

There have been rumblings regarding Hikuleo ever since reports stated that he has been added to WWE NXT. Some insiders have noted that it is not out of the question that the Tongan joins his real-life brothers Tama Tonga and Tonga Loa before Survivor Series. Former analyst at the company, Matt Camp feels that it may not be a wise decision.

Speaking on Busted Open about WWE's annual five-on-five WarGames match at Survivor Series, Matt Camp noted how there are only four members on either side. He was referring to the rumored inclusion of Jey Uso and Sami Zayn on Roman Reigns and Jimmy Uso's side, too.

"I've heard, like everybody else, that Hikuleo is signed, and maybe he is going to NXT or whatever, you're throwing him right to WarGames?" Matt Camp questioned the potential move. "Or is it going to be somebody else?" [From 15:38 to 15:50]

If Hikuleo ultimately does become part of the Survivor Series, that also leaves a bigger question. Who could be the fifth member of the original Bloodline?

The Bloodline Saga is the only WWE program that could headline Survivor Series: WarGames in 2024 says Dave Meltzer

Dave Meltzer noted on Wrestling Observer Newsletter recently that with the WarGames contest returning at WWE's 'Big Four' event for a third straight year during Thanksgiving weekend, there was only one program that makes for the headline. The slow build-up towards Roman Reigns, Jimmy Uso, Jey Uso, and possibly Sami Zayn joining forces yet again commenced at Bad Blood with Jimmy's return, Meltzer stated.

On WWE's main roster, the WarGames match has always been a five-on-five affair. However, the company has booked several four-on-four renditions of it in NXT.

The Bloodline is no stranger to the titular bout either, having competed in it two years ago. At Survivor Series 2022, Reigns, The Usos, Zayn, and Solo Sikoa stole the show as they defeated the team of Kevin Owens, Drew McIntyre, and The Brawling Brutes.
