"Hope everything works out" - WWE Hall of Famer shares his honest thoughts on major segment (Exclusive)
A WWE Hall of Famer recently expressed concern regarding the fallout from a particularly violent segment. He also spoke about how the segment halted the run of his favorite tag team of 2024.
The team being talked about is that of Jade Cargill and Bianca Belair. Although initially teased to be rivals at Royal Rumble, the two found great success as allies in the active scene. The duo's skill is evident from the fact that they have won the tag team titles twice within a short time.
Speaking on Sportskeeda's The Wrestling Time Machine hosted by Mac Davis, Teddy Long shared his appreciation for the tag team. When asked about his pick for the tag team of 2024 in WWE, he said:
"How can you not go with Bianca and Jade Cargill? Man, they look so good... Both of them, great workers in the ring. I am just hoping; I haven't heard anything lately on Jade Cargill, but I just hope everything works out for her." [From 12:37 onwards]
Another WWE Hall of Famer thinks Bayley attacked Jade Cargill
While Jade Cargill is currently out of action, there is no concrete evidence pointing towards who her attacker was.
Speaking on Women's Wrestling Talk, WWE Hall of Famer D-Von Dudley speculated that Bayley might be the one behind the act. He explained his perspective and said:
"I wouldn't be surprised maybe if it was Bayley. You never know. Listen, don't think Bayley is not above becoming a heel and doing heelish things to people. We've all seen in the past; we've all seen things in the past where Bayley has come out mean and vicious. So who's to say she didn't want to try to get that spot," he said. [From 12:11 to 12:33]
