Huge brawl breaks out on SmackDown after a match; WWE officials intervene
A huge brawl broke out on this week's episode of WWE SmackDown between Andrade and Carmelo Hayes. The two stars have been feuding for weeks now.
They had their first one-on-one match on the July 19 episode of the blue brand, which the former United States Champion won. Two weeks ago, the two stars faced each other again on SmackDown, and El Idolo emerged victorious. Last week, Andrade took on Santos Escobar in a number one contender's match for the United States Championship.
Carmelo Hayes interfered in the bout and helped the Legado Del Fantasma leader get the win. This resulted in another match between Hayes and the former WWE Speed Champion on SmackDown this week. During the bout, El Idolo tried to hit his finishing move, The Message, but Melo reversed it to pin his opponent.
This was his first time beating Andrade. After the bout, Carmelo started boasting that he won. Andrade responded by hitting him with multiple strikes, which led to a brawl.
WWE producers and referees came out to stop the fight, but the two stars kept throwing punches at each other. The officials finally separated them in the end.
