Huge name removed from WWE rosterĀ

A Hall of Famer has been removed from the promotion's roster page today on WWE's website. There have been several stars rumored to be removed from the company's internal roster this week as well.

Earlier this week, it was reported that Bobby Lashley, MVP, and Tamina had been removed from the company's internal roster. Lashley's contract is reportedly set to expire soon as well. Edge, now known as Adam Copeland in AEW, competed in his final match in WWE and defeated Sheamus on the August 18, 2023 episode of SmackDown.

His wife, the legendary Beth Phoenix, has been removed from the roster page on the company's website today and moved to the alumni section. The Glamazon has not competed in a match since teaming with Edge to defeat The Judgment Day's Finn Balor and Rhea Ripley at Elimination Chamber 2023.

Adam Copeland defended the TNT Championship against Malakai Black at AEW Double or Nothing. However, he went for a move off the top of a steel cage and suffered a significant injury. The veteran was forced to relinquish the TNT Championship, which went on to be captured by Jack Perry at Forbidden Door earlier this month.

Former WWE star discusses Adam Copeland's injury at AEW Double or Nothing

WWE veteran Gangrel recently commented on Adam Copeland's injury at Double or Nothing.

Gangrel, Christian, and Edge were known as The Brood back in the day in WWE. The veteran appeared during Adam Copeland's entrance at Double or Nothing and has commented on the AEW star's injury.

Speaking with Sportskeeda Wrestling's Bill Apter in an exclusive interview, Gangrel discussed the Rated-R Superstar's broken tibia suffered in May. He noted that he loves Copeland to death and was sorry to see the injury happen.

"It looked higher. Maybe that's what happened when he got up there I don't know. I love him to death and I'm sorry it happened to him. I can't thank him enough for thinking of me and bringing the whole Brood thing full circle and coming out there and having that moment. Thank you and you know whatever it was 25 years later."
