Huge tension teased between Ludwig Kaiser & Gunther on RAW courtesy of Sami Zayn

Ludwig Kaiser and Gunther are on good terms, but for a moment, not everything seemed right. In a series of events, Sami Zayn attempted to incite tension between Kaiser and Gunther, and a big moment was teased.

This week on RAW, Ludwig Kaiser went backstage to General Manager Adam Pearce - demanding a worthy challenger for the World Heavyweight Champion Gunther. Just as Pearce said that Sami Zayn had a case for a title shot, the four-time Intercontinental Champion came out.

He was soon confronted by Kaiser, and he tried to insert a seed of doubt in him. Zayn stated that he saw the hunger the German star had and implied that Gunther was holding him back. When The Ring General finally came out, Ludwig Kaiser had a moment where he said there was something he wanted to get off his chest for a long time. While it looked like he would turn on Gunther, it was a ploy as he attacked Sami Zayn.

Gunther told Sami that his answer was still no. As he exited the ring, Sami got the upper hand and got one over the German superstar, standing tall despite the ploy.

As of now, Gunther still doesn't have an official world title challenger.

It will be interesting to see what Sami has to do to get a title shot.
