Huge update regarding former WWE star's ongoing lawsuit

A former WWE star is currently involved in an ongoing lawsuit. New details regarding the lawsuit have come to light.

Tammy Sytch was one of the most popular names in the 1990s when she worked with the WWE (then WWF). She was known for managing Chris Candido and managing other talent, such as Ron Simmons. She was also the guest commentator when The Rock made his WWE debut at Survivor Series 1996. That same year, Tammy was the most downloaded woman on AOL's website, showcasing her popularity. She was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2011.

However, her personal life has been in shambles for a while due to her drinking problem. She was involved in a car accident in 2022, which resulted in the death of 75-year-old Julian Lasseter. She was convicted of DUI Manslaughter, causing death while operating a vehicle with a suspended or revoked driver's license, three counts of DUI causing property damage, and four counts of DUI causing injury to a person. Hence, she was sentenced to 17 years in prison. Her lawyer has appealed the sentence, but so far, the court has made no ruling.

Meanwhile, PWInsider is reporting that the wrongful death lawsuit against Tammy Sytch has been scheduled to begin on October 7, and the jury selection will start on October 2.

WWE Hall of Famer Tammy Sytch worried she might die in prison due to a medical condition

WWE Hall of Famer Tammy Sytch is suffering from several health issues and isn't receiving the medical attention she needs.

During an interview with TMZ Sports, Tammy Sytch revealed that she is suffering from a blood clot in her leg, and she is worried she might die due to it.

"Apparently the ultrasound tech...she looked at it and told them, listen, she’s got a severe blood clot in her leg. You better take her to the hospital, she could die from this. My husband Chris Candido...died of the same kind of a blood clot in the same leg, after he had ankle surgery after a wrestling match. So all that’s been going through my mind for the past three weeks is, 'Oh my God! I’m gonna follow in his footsteps and die of a blood clot just like he did, because I can’t get medical treatment in this prison.'"

Only time will tell whether Tammy Sytch will be convicted in her wrongful death lawsuit as well.
