Hulk Hogan's son pleads guilty to legal charge

WWE Hall of Famer Hulk Hogan is still considered the number one wrestler in the world among several pro wrestling fans. The Hulkster is still involved in several projects of the Stamford-based promotion and fans are always pleased to see him. Unfortunately, however, his son recently got into legal trouble due to a violation.

Nicholas Bollea, also known as Nick Hogan, has often found himself in trouble because of his driving habits. Notably, he was due to face another trial for driving under the influence (DUI). However, according to PWInsider, he has now pled guilty to the violation and won’t face a trial.

He appeared before the Pinellas County Court, wherein he changed his previous stance from not guilty to guilty. He was called regarding his November 2023 arrest for driving under the influence (DUI) and violating Florida’s Move Over law. Following this, he was levied a fine of $136 and sentenced to attend an Advanced Driving Instruction lesson of 12 hours.

Fortunately for him, this will close the case, and the 33-year-old will be able to keep his driving license as well. The decision to speak shows that Hulk Hogan's son has grown from his past errors.

When Hulk Hogan’s son reflected on a past unfortunate incident

Nicholas Bollea, also known as Nick Hogan, found himself in legal trouble from a young age, but his first big blow arrived in 2008. Hulk Hogan’s son was just 17 years of age at the time and had crashed his car into a tree. This resulted in his friend, John Graziano, who was in the passenger seat, incurring severe brain damage. Nick spoke about his thoughts on the matter two years later in an interview with ABC's Good Morning America:

"It's hard to move on every day and be positive when there's something that's so horribly devastating. There are days when I can't even get out of bed. John’s my brother; we practically lived together, and I just remember finding out about how bad everything was. It’s still hard for me to think about it. I pray every day that I will be able to deal with it. It’s still, at this point, too much to think about. It’s something that I carry with me every day." [H/T Daily Mail]

This was not, however, the end of his illicit relationship with alcohol and driving under the influence. While an overnight change is impossible in a person, his act of honestly coming forward points in a good direction.
