Hulk Hogan's two questionable wins were not entirely his fault, says ex-WWE star

WWE Hall of Famer Hulk Hogan has left an ever-lasting impact on the professional wrestling business. However, some of his wins at the end of his career raised more questions than answers. Recently, former Hardcore Champion Maven commented on two of The Hulkster's wins.

Hulk Hogan's second and third run with the Stamford-based company wasn't as memorable as his first one where he was the face of WWE for years to come. However, The Hulkster's last few run wasn't well received by fans as he had a say in the outcome and some creative liberties as well.

In Maven Huffman's recent YouTube video, he tried debunking a few rumors about certain superstars being jerks backstage. During the video, it was pointed out The Hulkster refused to lose to Randy Orton and Shawn Michaels, to which Maven responded by saying that Hogan wasn't a jerk for that as Vince McMahon gave him creative control.

"In a way, was he a jerk that somebody gave him a contract that gave him full control? I don't think so. I mean, hell if you get a chance to go to your boss and give him a list of all the things you will and won't do and your boss says no problem and just tell me what those things are. Are you not going to do it? Of course, you're going to do it. I don't think he's a jerk for that. Hogan was always great to me," Maven said. [From 02:02 to 02:32]

What happened when Hulk Hogan faced Shawn Michaels and Randy Orton at WWE SummerSlam?

In 2005, Hulk Hogan returned to WWE for a final run as a performer and stayed with the company for the next two years. After his return, he feuded with Shawn Michaels on Monday Night RAW, which concluded at SummerSlam 2005.

The original plans saw a trilogy between the two legends. However, The Hulkster's creative powers allowed him to change those plans and The Heartbreak Kid turned heel for the feud and ended up losing at The Biggest Party of the Summer in Washington.

A year later, Randy Orton was on the hunt for legends and he crossed paths with Hulk Hogan. This led to a match between a WWE Legend and The Legend Killer. Once again, The Hulkster's position in the company allowed him to change the outcome and The Legend Killer lost.
