"Hunter is a mark for wrestling"- Former WWE employee says he prefers Vince McMahon's booking over Triple H (Exclusive)

A lot has changed in WWE since Triple H took over the creative control from his father-in-law Vince McMahon. While most welcomed the regime change with open arms, Vince Russo recently said he prefers Vince's booking over The Game's.

Vince McMahon stepped down from his position as the head of the creative in 2022 following allegations of sexual misconduct. The 79-year-old is no longer a part of the company, with Triple H now being in charge of booking the shows.

Vince Russo discussed the difference between the booking style of Triple H and Vince McMahon during his appearance on Sportskeeda Wrestling's BroDown. The former WWE writer explained why he prefers Vince's booking over his son-in-law.

"I prefer Vince’s booking because Vince is more entertainment-oriented. Hunter loves wrestling, bro. Hunter is a mark for wrestling. Hunter doesn’t know how to create characters or write stories, and it’s evident. Hunter likes long-a**e wrestling matches and I am not a fan of that." [From 32:22 onwards]

While Vince Russo may be in favor of Mr. McMahon's creative direction, talents and fans have seemingly majorly sided with Hunter. WWE has reached new heights under The Game's leadership and is currently the hottest it has been in decades.
