"I was so angry" - The Miz recalls infamous WWE segment with major star

The Miz is already on a path to enter the illustrious WWE Hall of Fame when the time comes. Meanwhile, The A-Lister addressed his most infamous segment with multi-time World Champion Daniel Bryan and why the star was not a fan of it.

In 2016, The Miz elevated to new heights in the Stamford-based promotion when he cut a fiery promo on 5-time WWE World Champion Daniel Bryan during Talking Smack. The A-Lister also elevated the Intercontinental Championship for months to come, as fans witnessed a new side of Mike Mizanin for the first time.

In an interview with Adrian Hernandez ahead of his A&E Biography, the two-time WWE Champion spoke about his infamous segment with Daniel Bryan. The 43-year-old star stated he wasn't a fan of the segment as he was filled with anger and was losing control.

"The one with Daniel Bryan, that's probably my most infamous. When I got back and got out of that, I was so angry. It was real anger. I've never felt that type of anger before, and I didn't know what to do with it. It's scary. I lost control of everything, and I just started yelling, and the veins were popping out of my head. I don't like watching it. I don't like the feeling that I had. I was so mad," The Miz said. (From 00:24 to 01:02)

The Miz and R-Truth recently lost their titles on WWE RAW

In 2011, The Miz and R-Truth stood up against the management and aligned for the foreseeable future on Monday Night RAW. The Awesome Truth had a successful run until they went their separate ways.

Earlier this year, The Miz backed R-Truth against The Judgment Day and reunited The Awesome Truth in the Stamford-based promotion. The two jumped through hoops and finally dethroned Finn Balor and Damian Priest at WrestleMania XL.

Later, Triple H made them the inaugural World Tag Team Champions of the Modern Era. However, the title reign ended when Liv Morgan played mind games with R-Truth.

The Women's World Champion cost The Awesome Truth and allowed Finn Balor and JD McDonagh to capitalize. The former champions could get a title match at The Biggest Party of The Summer in Ohio, as they're yet to invoke their rematch.
