"I was begging him to stop" - Kevin Owens details one of the worst experiences of his WWE career

Kevin Owens has gone through a lot in his WWE career over the past decade. However, The Prizefighter detailed one of the worst experiences of his career when Shane McMahon came at him with a few deadly punches.

In 2017, Kevin Owens feuded with Shane McMahon on SmackDown Live for a couple of months. During their feud, the two were in a Hell in a Cell match which The Prizefighter won.

In a video titled WWE Retrospective, Kevin Owens detailed one of the worst experiences of his career when he was hanging on to the cell as Shane McMahon punched him a few times in his kidneys. Owens said he begged him to stop:

"So, the fun part is eventually we've to get down from this thing. He's punching me right in the kidney. These are the worst things that have ever happened in my career, okay? Those little punches, those four punches he threw right at my kidneys. I was begging him to stop... I thought he was going to break my ribs... I turned to him and goes, please stop," Owens said. Kevin Owens and Shane McMahon had another WWE feud after 2017

In 2018, Kevin Owens feuded with Shane McMahon for a brief period, eventually reaching The Grandest Stage of Them All in New Orleans. Owens and Sami Zayn lost to McMahon and Daniel Bryan in a tag team match.

In 2019, Shane McMahon turned heel and feuded with The Miz for a while. After defeating The A-Lister, he crossed paths with Kevin Owens, who returned to the brand as a babyface.

However, the tables were turned as The Prizefighter stood tall in the end and defeated Shane McMahon in a Ladder Match, which was done to write him off. The two haven't shared the ring in a one-on-one bout since their encounter in October 2019.
