"I don't care about him and his little drink" - WWE star has stern words for Logan Paul (Exclusive)
Logan Paul has universally impressed pro wrestling fans ever since entering the squared circle and is currently the WWE United States Champion. He, however, has a target on his back, and LA Knight is hell-bent on taking the title off Logan.
While they haven't wrestled a singles match yet, LA Knight and Logan Paul have begun their feud, with the babyface already making the champion's life miserable on a few occasions.
Ahead of his Money in the Bank assignment, Sportskeeda Wrestling spoke to LA Knight and asked him his honest thoughts about Logan Paul.
Knight didn't mince his words as expected while expressing his desire to become the next WWE United States Champion. The Megastar doesn't care about Paul or his Prime energy drink and is only concerned about the shiny US Title belt around his waist.
Knight even hilariously compared Logan to a character from the iconic video game Mike Tyson's Punch-Out, Glass Joe!
Here's Knight's response:
"My thoughts on Logan Paul are that I want his championship. I don't really care about him. I don't care about him and his little drink. The fact that he looks like Glass Joe from Mike Tyson's Punch-Out. I don't care about anything. All I care about is the fact that he's got the US Championship, and I want it."
After LA Knight's Money in the Bank detour, he should ideally focus on Logan Paul and the WWE US Title
The 41-year-old star was amongst the six contestants who competed for the WWE Money in the Bank briefcase in Toronto, Canada last night.
Drew McIntyre eventually won and lost the coveted contract on the same night, and as for LA Knight, he had his moments during the chaotic ladder match despite falling short.
He might be one of the most over babyfaces in the company for a while, but LA Knight's story has been about losing the big matches in WWE. The seasoned pro wrestler has failed to cross the finishing line on a few occasions, but SummerSlam is where he could finally taste some redemption.
Based on the booking, LA Knight should ideally challenge Logan Paul at WWE SummerSlam in August, and many would favor the SmackDown star to win his first singles championship at the premium live event.
