"I endorsed this" - Matt Hardy reacts to former champion paying homage to him on WWE NXT

Matt Hardy has taken to social media to react to Ethan Page performing the Twist of Fate during his match on the latest episode of WWE NXT. He commented on how he felt about it.

The popular move is used by both members of The Hardy Boyz, who currently compete in TNA where they're the current TNA World Tag Team Champions. On the black and silver brand this week, Tony D'Angelo defended his North American Championship against All Ego.

A fan took to X to share a clip of Ethan Page hitting The Don of NXT with a Twist of Fate and tagged Matt Hardy in the post. The wrestling veteran responded by showing his appreciation for the homage.

"I endorsed this. I endorse @OfficialEGO! #WWENXT," he wrote.

Matt Hardy thinks Big E will return to in-ring action after The New Day's heel turn

Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods shockingly turned heel and betrayed their longtime friend Big E last week on WWE RAW. They accused him of abandoning them.

On The Extreme Life of Matt Hardy, the TNA star stated that he thinks Big E will be cleared to compete because of what Xavier Woods told him.

"The biggest thing to me was that there was a telltale sign when [Xavier Woods] said, 'Admit it. You are never going to be cleared.' That was the biggest thing to me. Just even they decided to reference that. It seems like that was put in there specifically for a reason."

Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods were serenaded with boos by the crowd when they appeared on RAW this week. Even other talent backstage gave them the cold shoulder. That's because Big E is one of the most beloved superstars in WWE, and people weren't happy with how New Day treated him.
