"I had a feeling" - Vince McMahon's alleged next move was quite predictable for him, says veteran (Exclusive)
The WWE community was understandably taken aback by the recent reports of Vince McMahon's future plans, which seem to be starting another entertainment-based company. However, a veteran has claimed that he wasn't too taken aback.
Vince McMahon stepped down as CEO and Chairman of the company in 2022 due to hush-money allegations. He later returned as the Executive Chairman of TKO Group Holdings. However, he resigned from the position in January 2024 owing to disturbing allegations. Rumors have suggested that McMahon is spearheading the new company. While it appears it won't be a pro wrestling company, nothing has been confirmed yet.
Speaking about the topic on Sportskeeda's The Wrestling Time Machine hosted by Mac Davis, veteran journalist Bill Apter said:
"He's an entrepreneur. I mean, he can't sit still. He cannot sit still. 24/7, he was like this when he was with WWE, and I had a feeling that he was gonna come up with something. Not to do with pro wrestling, but he is an entertainment mogul. He really is. I mean look at what he did, what he started with WWE... He has got a lot of contacts in the movie business, in the entertainment business." [2:39 onwards]

Bill Apter also spoke about what Vince McMahon should do next
According to Bill Apter, Vince McMahon needs to first work on improving his image to have a successful company.
Speaking on the same episode of Sportskeeda's The Wrestling Time Machine, the veteran journalist noted that Vince may have trouble finding people to work with him:
"First, he has gotta get rid of all these legal issues. Before that, other than these few people that are on board with him already allegedly, I don't know if anybody's gonna wanna work with him or for him." [3:16 onwards]
As of now, it remains to be seen how Vince plans to accomplish his future plans.
