"I hope he didn't break a rib" - WWE veteran reflects on Bron Breakker's brutal spot on RAW
WWE Superstar Bron Breakker was involved in a dangerous spot during his recent match on Monday Night RAW. Wrestling legend Tommy Dreamer reacted to the Intercontinental Champion doing high-risk maneuvers.
On the November 25, 2024, edition of the red brand, The Dog of WWE faced Ludwig Kaiser in a non-title grudge match. At one point during the bout, Breakker sprinted towards the Imperium member outside of the ring, but the latter moved aside. The IC Champion crashed into the corner of the announce table and took the full force of the impact to his chest.
Speaking on an episode of the Busted Open After Dark, Tommy Dreamer praised the 27-year-old WWE Superstar's commitment to a high-risk spot on RAW, while also acknowledging the potential danger involved. The ECW legend expressed concern for Bron Breakker's well-being, hoping he did not sustain serious injuries like a broken rib or torn muscle.
"What Bron Breakker did running into that table, man, I got scared. I was so impressed with it. I was seriously like, 'Man, I hope he didn't break a rib. I hope he didn't tear a pec, tear a lat.' Because he was running so fast. He committed to the move. Seriously, go into work tomorrow, and run as hard as you can into somebody's desk. See where that gets you," Dreamer said. Ex-WWE writer slams Bron Breakker's current booking in the company
The match between Ludwig Kaiser and Breakker ended in DQ after Sheamus interfered and attacked both competitors. Adam Pearce later announced that Bron will defend his Intercontinental Title against The Celtic Warrior and The European Excellence in a Triple Threat Match at Survivor Series.
Speaking on Sportskeeda Wrestling's Legion of RAW, Vince Russo criticized Bron Breakker's booking in WWE, stating that he was being treated as just another wrestler on the roster.
"Bron Breakker is going 50-50 with Kaiser. Bron Breakker, at this point, is just another wrestler on the roster. That’s all he is, bro! That’s it!" he said.
