"I don't know this to be true" - WWE veteran reveals major reason for Samantha Irvin's 'abrupt' departure before RAW
The WWE Universe was left stunned when Samantha Irvin announced that her time with the Stamford-based company had come to an end. The 35-year-old made a massive name for herself with her incredible skills, and her departure from the company came all of a sudden.
While Irvin seemingly left the company herself, it is still unclear why she made this move. Though some people speculated that she would follow in the footsteps of her fiance, Ricochet, and jump ship to AEW following her WWE exit, The Future of Flight himself revealed that Samantha was not on her way to the Tony Khan-led company.
Though there are a plethora of questions revolving around the 35-year-old's abrupt departure from the company, WWE veteran Jonathan Coachman mentioned a possible reason. During a recent edition of Backstage Pass, the 51-year-old veteran stated that pregnancy might be the reason Irvin marked her exit from the Stamford-based promotion. This is something that The Coach stated earlier as well, which is still a possibility.
"We’ve seen historically that when something happens abruptly, usually there is a little one involved. Becky Lynch when she announced on the show, she was pregnant, so that was very abrupt. My guess is, and I don’t know this to be true, but my guess is that she (Samantha Irvin) is pregnant," Jonathan Coachman said.
WWE has replaced Samantha Irvin on RAW
The latest edition of Monday Night RAW featured the replacement for Samantha Irvin on the red brand. WWE Chief Content Officer Triple H brought back arguably one of the greatest ring announcers of all time, Lilian Garcia, to the Stamford-based company.
While it was previously uncertain if Garcia had returned to the company full-time, the 58-year-old cleared the air with a post on Instagram, revealing that she was back in the Stamford-based company for a prolonged run.
It would be interesting to see if Lilian Garcia would stay on RAW or will the company make some other changes.
